According to one digital marketing firm, eDataSource, sales of the cloud-based Amazon Kindle Fire Android-based tablet have reached 95,000 in its first day on the market (all of those sales being pre-orders). I am sure this has a lot to do with the pricetag being $199. Time will tell if Apple has anything to worry about here, but so far this is only 1 third of the sales of the first generation iPad sold on the first day back in 2010.
