In response to consumer outrage over visiting two separate sites for DVD rentals and streaming content, Netflix has apparently halted plans to split the companies.
If you visit the http://www.quickster.com/ site, you will notice it redirects to http://www.netflix.com instead.
I was pretty sure they would go through with it, and i was buying into the rumors that Microsoft was going to make a bid for the netflix streaming portion of the company. I guess i was wrong. Whatever happens, i hope they get more content on the streaming side. I really enjoy the streaming service and i would like to have more variety in streaming content available.
