I ran across this report today from February 2012 titled “The Future of Healthcare, a National survey of Physicians”. Buried at the end of the report on EMR / EHR adoption numbers by state was the following:
another excerpt that caught my eye was this:
This survey also showed that on average 30% of physicians are using a system that is certified for meaningful use. I wonder what percentage have attested for meaningful use and have received incentive checks. Here are the top five states that based on the survey for EMR / EHR adoption:
